20 things about the cook

Hihi

The delightful Laura Hobbs writes a blog that combines two of my favourite things (yoga and pie). She recently asked me to be part of her series; ’20 things about the cook’ .

It’s home to a few confessions from me, from my antisocial obsession with sharks (including the fact that I have a google alert for ‘shark attack’)  to our plans to head to South Africa in December (lions and tigers and bears- oh my!)

Whether or not we’ll go shark diving while we’re in Cape Town…. well that’s a whole other kettle of fish.

You can read the rest at http://pranaandpie.com/  here.

Things are a little crazy at the moment; with some good things on the boil. Promise to return to more regular transmission soon.

  1. Interesting reading. First 6 months of a law degree is probably comparable to the first mile of a marathon – not the easiest unless you are well warmed up! And chances of meeting an opposite sex in a lesbian/gay bar is far lower than breaking the world marathon record with an injured leg.

  2. What a fun twenty things! I love dry rose. And pesto pasta.

And i haven't yet tried going to a lesbian bar to meet my future husband…but nothing else has seemed to work…

  3. Great article! Lol about the fermented shark meat. I would love to see the pyramids so I'm a little jealous. 😉

  4. Good read! I am freaked out about sharks too. I won't go into any open body of water unless I can see to the bottom. Even then, I'm freaked out.

  5. What a fun article! I've broken a toe several times, as well, but it's the little one on my right foot. No fun! I'm not a law-school dropout, but I am a grad-school dropout. There ought to be Public Service Announcements about what post-graduate education is really like!

LOVE your video (too too funny!) and love the idea of a "baby bucket list."
